The manufacturers ask if you’re “ready to win a triathlon?”  We have to admit that out of all the shoes we’ve tested, the Tri Fly 2 Carbon from Pearl iZUMi comes pretty close to being the perfect shoe.   It even looks fast!  It’s lined mesh technology allows you to lose the socks and the forefoot provides great ventilation.  We were a little concerned that the two-strap approach could slow us down at transition but after putting this shoe through our tests we ultimately didn’t find it a problem.   It’s a carbon shoe so provides maximum power output and is Look compatible.  At a list price of $179.95 its not exactly cheap, but we’ve done some digging around and we’ve managed to find it for under $100 here. You can thank us later!  Go get em!
